How Meta Shares Data About You

Your data is shared with others in the following ways:

  1. Sharing within Meta products.
  2. Content that others share or reshare about you.
  3. Data about your active status or presence on Facebook or on our Facebook page “hr”.
  4. Applications, websites, and third-party product integrations in Meta products or using them.
  5. New owner (if there is a change in ownership or control of all or part of Meta products or their features, your data may be transferred to a new owner).
  6. Sharing with third-party partners.

Meta collaborates with partners – third parties who assist in the delivery and improvement of products or use Meta business tools to grow their businesses.

TECH4YOU d.o.o., as the data controller, does not share personally identifiable information nor can it influence how all your data is collected, used, and shared by Meta. Meta, as an independent data controller, shares and transfers your data to third countries, including the United States.

You should know that Meta provides advertisers with reports on the categories of people who see their ads and the performance of their ads. This is done to share data about you and provide analytical and measurement reports to their partners.

Furthermore, Meta provides data and content to sellers and service providers who support their business, research partners, the academic community for research purposes that promote learning and innovations for social welfare, technological advancements, public interest, health and well-being, and law enforcement bodies or based on legal requests.

Data Retention, Deactivation, and Account Deletion:

Meta stores data until it is no longer necessary for providing services and Meta products or until your user account is deleted, depending on which occurs earlier. The decision on data retention is made on a case-by-case basis, considering factors such as the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs. For example, when you search for something on Facebook, you can access that search and delete it from your search history at any time, but Meta deletes the record of that search after 6 months.

If you submit a copy of your identification document issued by the government for account verification purposes, Meta deletes that copy 30 days after submission.

When you delete your user account, Meta deletes the content you have posted, such as your photos and new statuses, and you will no longer be able to access that data. Data that others have shared about you is not part of your user account and will not be deleted. If you don’t want to delete your user account but only temporarily stop using the products, you can deactivate your user account instead.

To delete your user account at any time, visit the Facebook settings and Instagram settings.

Data Sharing and Transfers within Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.

As users of Facebook and followers of the Facebook page “The Casebel Collection,” we must inform you that Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. has not been allowed to export data outside the EU since July 2020 due to the SCHREMS II ruling. The security of our users is our top priority. The temporary legal basis is your consent, which you give when you decide to follow our Facebook page, but remember that you agreed to all the terms of data sharing and transfers to the US when you opened a Facebook profile. As an independent data controller, we do not transfer data to third countries.
